The People's Pioneer Mountain Bank of Utah [ [http://www.investorsiraq.com/showthread.php?p=551970 M2 is slain part 2 - Page 6 - Investor's Iraq Forum ] ] is the 4th oldest FDIC insured bank in Utah according to statistics offered by the FDIC [ [http://www.fdic.gov/ FDIC: Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ] ] . Since its formation on July 10, 1982 it has served primarily the upper-middle class of Utah County.
Humanitarian Aid
In August 2001 the PPBU donated a sum of $700,200 to the Republic of Armenia intended to rebuild earthquake victims' homes. The donation was made discretely in order to prevent competing banks from claiming the donation was a massive publicity stunt. In 2003 the PPBU opened a scholarship fund at the University of Utah for English and Humanities majors.
