Membership of the College of Emergency Medicine or MCEM is a qualification awarded by examination by the College of Emergency Medicine, the organisation which has the responsibility of guiding the training and examinations of specialists in emergency medicine in the United Kingdom. The examination is now the preferred route of entry to specialist registrar training. The examination has three parts: A, B and C. Part A and B are written exams, part C is a practical OSCE style exam.
