Christopher Hopper is a recording artist, record producer, author, motivational speaker, youth pastor, Christian discipleship school president and restaurateur. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and two children in the Thousand Islands of Northern, NY.

As a Christian

At age 11 Christopher preached his first public sermon while attending Covenant Love Community School in Freeville, NY. Through both school and his involvement with Boy Scouts, Boys State and various other community, church and school groups, Christopher was provided more opportunities to speak publicly. By his late teenage years Christopher was speaking at church meetings and conferences, sharing the Gospel and giving altar calls at his concerts. As the demand for his music increased so too did his preaching and teaching abilities.

In the mid '90s Christopher took over the youth leader position of his father's church, Reach Out For Christ in Dryden, NY. He came up with his own Bible studies and strategies for winning his town for Christ. "Gladiators" was a small group of young teens that met Monday mornings at 6am, while "Revolution!" was the mid-week youth service. With community outreaches to local high schools and active involvement in the Bible Clubs, Christopher learned youth ministry through hands on experience.

He traveled to Europe and Africa all before he was 19 years old. Thought never attending formal Bible College, Christopher did spend some time at the William Carey School of World Missions in Durban, South Africa. In his early twenties, Christopher was ordained simultaneously by two different ministries that recognized his work for the Lord around the world, Good News World Outreach in Dallas, TX and reach Out For Christ Inc. in Dryden, NY.

As a Musician

Born April 25 1979 in Ithaca, NY. The son of Peter Hopper a record producer (April & Blackwood Records; Columbia Records; AireFire Records), recording & audio engineer (Clint Black, The Judds) and drummer (Janis Joplin, Phil Keaggy), Nina Hopper a singer/songwriter (Shenandoah Conservatory of Music).

His Godly home and church environment, as well as his elementary and middle school years at Covenant Love Community School in Freeville, NY, helped develop his Christian faith. Growing up in recording studios, his early musical talents secured him a position as a professional studio drummer at age ten. He toured and produced alongside his father throughout his teenage years with scores of records to his credit. At age nineteen he recorded and co-produced his own first full-length album, Don't Let Me Go (1999 AireFire Records). The album opened doors for him to tour Europe and Africa as well as the US.

In the summer of 2001 he formed a trio and recorded a second studio album under the name, Christopher Hopper & Money For The Poor. The album, Please Come In (2001 AireFire Records) spurred a 26 state round-the-US national tour. Later in 2002 he would go back in the studio with a new band for a third studio project, only this time he would dedicate the entire project to worship. Vertical: The Worship Project (2002 AireFire Records), though the least known of his work, would turn a corner for Hopper as he found his "true calling" in leading worship and preaching the Word.

Already having a growing fan base of teenagers and college students, as well as parents who finally found Christian music heralded as something "both teenagers and their parents could enjoy together," Hopper was approached to lead worship for the Joshua Revolution youth conference in Buffalo, NY in 2002. The event was recorded live and the result was his best selling record to date, Christopher Hopper Live! (2003 AireFire Records).

Immediately following the success of the album, tour demands and speaking engagements in Europe and his growing ministry popularity in France opened another door: a worship CD completely in French. In January 2003, Hopper went into the studio for his fifth project, this time all in a foreign language. Pour Toi (2003 AireFire Records) was released in both the US and France, sent also to the francophone nations of Africa.

It was also in 2003 that Hopper proposed to his now wife, Jennifer Lee Hopper, also a singer, songwriter and pianist. Falling For You (2003 AireFire Records) would be a duet album released on their wedding in late December, marking 3 CD releases in one year.

Busy with married life, constant touring and conference speaking, his next record would not be recorded until late 2004, a second live recording, this time at HSBC Arena. Dialed In (2005 AireFire Records) would be his first-two disc set and hallmark yet another event in his life and ministry.

In 2005 Hopper would put down roots in the Thousand Islands region of northern NY and release his eighth recording with the Christopher Hopper Band, Airborn (2005 AireFire Records).

The Christopher Hopper Band

CHB has a rich sound all there own and is as unique as it is varied. Stemming from the diverse backgrounds of its players, the music combines pop/rock with jazz, funk, RnB, reggae and folk.

Their heart for worship and expression of what the Holy Spirit wants for the "now moment" make them one of the premier worship concert bands of their generation. Full of heart and an anointing for congregational worship, CHB never takes the stage the same way twice, and always leaves you remembering Jesus.

A World untouched by evil and ignorant of temptation is quietly awakened to a wicked influence in its kingdom that threatens to destroy all life. At first any signs of change are subtle, but slowly even Creation itself heralds the impending doom that awaits.

Luik son of Lair embarks on an epic saga to protect his people and attempt to keep his world from following the fate of one that has gone before it. Earth. What some thought was merely a means to an end, others believe will be the birth of a legend. Luik and a brilliant cast of characters join together in this perfect world gone wrong, as it becomes the epicenter for a war of historic proportions.

Rise of the Dibor spans into some of the most essential questions of the Christian faith, including humanity’s ability, or complete failure, to resist temptation and our inevitable need for a Savior.

The Lion Vrie

The Lion VrieBook I - The White Lion ChroniclesRelease Date: June 15th 2007,Published by: Tsaba House, Reedley, CADistributed by: STL

What if life as you had known it ceased to exist? If surrounded by utter destruction, how would you even begin to rebuild? And where could you turn for help?

Luik, the son of a fallen Dionian king, finds himself injured and headed for Tontha in the north of a besieged Dionia. Here he sorts through the trauma of the recent past and attempts to piece together the whereabouts of the defeated Dibor and his friends Fane, Hadrian, and Princess Anorra.

As work begins on fortifying Mt. Dakka, now under his command, Luik journeys south to the wreckage of Adriel in hopes of discovering anything that might help him find his missing friends. The journey uncovers far more than he ever anticipated, and upon returning to Mt. Dakka he discovers more shocking clues about the secret order—the Knights of The Lion Vrie.

While hope is kindled by the discovery of many of his surviving countrymen, a deep foreboding takes root as Morgui’s grip on Dionia tightens. Luik’s path is plagued by mysterious encounters with the taken and haunted by the effects of evil upon Creation. But even more puzzling is the sudden reappearance of many rumored to be dead including the missing Hadrian.

When strange letters begin to demand his aid, Luik embarks on perilous missions to the far corners of his country, including a daring rescue attempt in Somahguard Islands, crossing through the deserted realm of Trennesol, even risking everything in search of the fabled City of Ot.

Will Luik be reunited with the Dibor, or will he find they have met a similar fate as Dionia’s kings? Is there any hope for the land of Dionia? Is the army of Morgui too vast and overpowering for the remnant of battered Dionians?
