Roseto Valfortore is a town and "comune" of the province of Foggia in the Apulia region of southeast Italy.

Geography

The area surrounding Roseto is mountainous with the river Fortore running through the town. Hence the name Valfortore (valley of the Fortore).

History

There have been numerous waves of migrations from the town of Roseto Valfortore over the past century.
