Apollonioi (Greek: Απολλώνιοι) is a municipality on the island of Lefkada, Greece. It is located in the southwestern part of the island. Its population was 3,235 at the 2001 census. The seat of the municipality is in Vasiliki (pop. 431). The municipality is the island's and the prefecture's largest in area at 124.709 km², comprising about 41 percent of Lefkada Island. Its largest towns are Ágios Pétros (pop. 578), Vasilikí, Sývros (418), and Marantochóri (327).

Information

The area features beautiful beaches on the island, its neaches are in the western side of the island, the most famous are in Porto Katsiki and in Ekremnoi. The Porto Katsiki Beach has voted the second best beaches in the world. Its town hall is located in the fishing town of Vasiliki.
