Steve Wilson (journalist)

Steve Wilson is a football writer working primarily for the English based publication Calcio Italia, which focuses on Serie A and Italian football.

Born in High Wycombe on January 29, 1979, he was educated at John Hampden Grammar School before studying Journalism at the University of Teesside in Middlesbrough.

Having began his career at Reuters news agency in 2001, where he covered Wimbledon, World Cup 2002 and Euro 2004, he moved to Calcio Italia magazine in early 2005. He is currently Production Editor of the magazine and contributes to the Channel 4 Football Italia website.

Steve has also written for When Saturday Comes, EuroCalcio in Italy, Soccer Italia and Soccer360 in Canada, the Ligue de Football Professionnel newsletter and is a regular contributor to the matchday programme of Wycombe Wanderers.

He supports Celtic Football Club and Wycombe Wanderers.
