Benjamin "Ben" Dingle was a fictional character on the ITV soap opera "Emmerdale" who only appeard in a single episode and was the first member of the family to appear on screen. He died of a heart defect during a fight with Luke McAllister. For a while it seemed like Luke had murdered him and the Dingles continued to blame him even after the truth came out. He was played by Steve Fury.
