Political controversy
All Swedish arms export contracts are granted as exceptions to a law banning exports. Several public campaigns, including civil disobedience actions, have targeted production sites and transports. A current [http://www.ofog.org/disarm08/disarm08-0 campaign] has argued Sweden should refrain from arms exports to illegal wars and human-rights offenders.
