Reihaneh (Rei) Safavi-Naini (PerB|ريحانه صفوی نائينی ) is the [http://www.icore.ca/ iCORE] Chair in Information Security at the
University of Calgary ,Canada . Before joining University of Calgary in 2007, she was a Professor of Computer Science, Faculty of Informatics and the Director of [http://www.titr.uow.edu.au/ Telecommunication and Information Technology Research Institute (TITR)] and [http://www.titr.uow.edu.au/centres/CIS/ Centre for Information Security] at theUniversity of Wollongong ,Australia . She has served on the program committees of major conferences incryptology andinformation security including CRYPTO,EUROCRYPT ,ASIACRYPT , and [http://www.acm.org/sigs/sigsac/ccs/ ACM CCS] and has worked on numerous industry collaborative research projects. Currently, she is director of [http://icis.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/ iCORE Infromation Security Lab] .She received a PhD in
Electrical and Computer Engineering -coding theory under supervision of Prof. [http://www.comm.utoronto.ca/templatep/blake.html Ian F. Blake] fromUniversity of Waterloo , Canada, after completing her BSc and MSc inElectrical Engineering inUniversity of Tehran .
