Baron Blythswood

Baron Blythswood was a title created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom on 24 August 1892 for Sir Archibald Campbell, Bt, the former MP for Renfrew. He had been created a baronet, of Blythswood, Renfrewshire on 4 May 1880, and this became extinct on his death. However, the barony was creeated with a special remainder for his younger brothers. On the death of the 7th Baron, the barony became extinct on 14 September 1940.
