Blackbury Camp is an Iron Age hill fort situated near Seaton, Devon, England. The ramparts are still relatively high, showing an unusual entrance feature. The Fort occupies the end of a large ridge at some 185 Metres above Sea Level. [R.R.Sellman; Aspects of Devon History, Devon Books 1985 - ISBN 0861147561 - Chapter 2; The Iron Age in Devon. A triangular barbican was added to the South but was never completed. The fort was probably occupied between the second and first Century BC by a cattle farming community
