CONCACAF Champions' Cup 1997

The CONCACAF Champions' Cup 1997 was the 33rd edition of the annual international club football competition held in the CONCACAF region (North America, Central America and the Caribbean), the CONCACAF Champions' Cup. It determined that year's club champion of association football in the CONCACAF region.

The teams were splited in 3 zones (North, Central and Caribbean). The North American zone qualified 2 teams direct into the quarterfinals and played a play-off to got a 3rd spot in the quarterfinals. The Central American zone played a regional tournament to get 3 spots in the quarterfinal. The winner of the Caribbean zone, got a place in the quarterfinals.

1997 was the first year that teams from the United States' premier league, Major League Soccer, took part in the Champions' Cup. The competitors in the MLS Cup, both winner and runner-up, were each given berths in the tournament.

* Primera División de México (Mexico): 1996 Invierno winner (Santos Laguna), 1997 Verano winner (Guadalajara), 1997 Invierno winner (Cruz Azul).

Central American zone

* UNCAF Club Championship 1997 (Central America): Series One winner (C.S. Cartaginés), Series 2 winner (Luis Angel Firpo), Series 3 winner (CSD Comunicaciones)

Caribbean zone

* CFU Club Championship 1997 (Caribbean): Caribbean Zone winner (United Petrotrin)
