John Habyan

John Habyan

John Gabriel Habyan (born January 29, 1964, in Bay Shore, New York) was a Major League Baseball right-handed pitcher.

Drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 3rd round of the 1982 MLB amateur draft, Habyan would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Baltimore Orioles on September 29, 1985, and appeared in his final game on June 8, 1996. Coaches boys varsity baseball for the Saint John the Baptist Cougars. Teaches gym classes at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip, New York. In 2008 the Cougars won the NSCHSAA championship againist St. Dominic High School in a best of 3 series. They won the series 2-1. He works for free.
