This is a survey of the postage stamps and postal history of Cuba and Puerto Rico during the years 1855 - 1872 when they were both Spanish colonies and were postally united.
Currency in 1855 was 8.5 cuartos to 1 real. In 1866, this was changed to 100 centimos = 1 peseta.
