She has historically written columns that deal with civil rights and social equality, as well as everyday issues regardingSeattle area events and living. She appears regularly on theKUOW-FM show "Weekday".When Paynter's columns have a political leaning, they tend to be socially liberal, progressive and opt towards being anti-military.
Criticisms
Susan Paynter recently has come under fire for trying to get a Blue Angel show in Seattle canceled, calling the show "death from above".
Susan Paynter is a very Big Socialist and way left Liberal Democrat. She makes very interesting stories, not convincing that they could even be true. I was just reading a "Story" she wrote, and that’s all it is. I was amazed at how made up the story is it was her article "When Marine recruiters go way beyond the call", If you read you will see the fine print. Susan Paynter doesn’t Like the Armed Forces or any military and will go to no limits on how she will miss portray our Freedom Fighters.
