KMXZ-FM is an adult contemporary radio station that serves Tucson, Arizona. KMXZ broadcasts on the frequency of 94.9 MHz and uses the branding of Mix FM. KMXZ is owned by Journal Broadcast Group and consistently places in the top 4 radio stations in the Arbitron ratings. Former call is KJYK.

Programs include the "Bobby and Brad Morning Show" and the syndicated love show Deliliah at night. The John Tesh Radio Show is featured on Sunday mornings and in the hours on weekdays.

KMXZ-FM has been broadcasting since 1988. KJYK-FM 94.9 was an Easy Listening station in the 1980s that played beautiful music. KJYK was owned by Citadel Broadcasting, who sold it to Duchossois Communications. Journal would later acquire the station from Duchossois.

KJYK was known as K-Joy FM 94, and was one of the stations that carried Chuck Cecil's swinging years for many years in Tucson. KJYK 94.9 FM switched calls to KMXZ-FM 94.9 and changed formats in 1988. They started out as Soft AC station "Cloud 95" in 1988 and later evolved into Hot AC "Mix FM" in the mid-1990s.

In December 2007 KMXZ and Brad Behan of the Bobby and Brad Morning Show parted ways [http://web.mac.com/studio949/Studio949/Bradsblog/Entries/2007/10/23_I%E2%80%99M_GONE_-_BUT_I%E2%80%99M_BACK.html] [http://www.tucsonweekly.com/gbase/Currents/Content?oid=102627] , with former KZPT afternoon drive personality Greg Curtis joining the morning show.
