Notable_instruments =Forever In Terror is a
heavy metal music group fromStreetsboro, Ohio .History
Formerly known as
7th plague , Forever In Terror began just over three years ago with five friends in Streetsboro, Ohio about 30 miles outside ofCleveland, Ohio . The band was formed by drummer Nick Borukhovsky and between 2003 - 2006 the band went through name changes and member changes to finalize its current lineup of Nate Marti (rhythm guitar ), Josh Owen (bass) and Nick Borukhovsky (drums), Chris Bianchi (vocalist ) and Glenn "Glizzy" Moore (lead guitar )In 2004 after several small local shows the band caught the attention of Concert Promotions and Band Management firm
Hardcore Marketing , Inc. HM, Inc asked the band to play the top venue in Cleveland, The Odeon Concert Club. They were an instant fan favorite with their New Wave of American Heavy Metal stylings. The band quickly gained recognition due to the talent at such a young age. The band opened for some of the biggest national names in metal includingMachine Head ,Unearth , Trivium,God Forbid , All That Remains,DevilDriver ,Meshuggah ,Mushroomhead , etc. However, the highest honor came when the band was asked to open for Cleveland home town legendsChimaira .In early 2005 after having played several more high profile shows the band was approached by Hardcore Marketing, Inc. in-house producer Don Debiase (Gatlin, APG). Because of previous good relations between the band and HM, Inc. Forever In Terror chose Debiase to produce its first demo. In the midst of consistent gigging, Forever In Terror entered Track Six Recording Studios with Debiase, and engineer Brandon Youngs in early July 2005. Throughout Forever In Terror's time in the studio, Debiase was persistent in keeping Owner and Band Manager of HM, Inc., Neil Sheehan, aware of the professional quality music being produced by the young band.
Upon finishing their demo the band had Sheehan shop the demo to several record labels. In October 2005, the members of 7th Plague learned that
Metal Blade Records was putting an offer in on the band. In January 2006, the band accepted the offer from Metal Blade."We are completely elated about the signing and what is to come for us in the near future. All of us are only seventeen years old and we are still having trouble accepting the fact that our dreams are coming true at such a young age. To be a part of the Metal Blade Records family and to be represented alongside bands such as
Unearth ,As I Lay Dying ,Cannibal Corpse ,The Black Dahlia Murder , Six Feet Under and so many of our other favorite bands, its just amazing. We know we are young, but we are humble, and we want fans ofNWOAHM to judge the music not the age." stated Borukhovsky.Discography
Restless in the Tides (2007)Former names
The band's name has been a recurrent problem. In the early days with Tony in the band, they were known as
Theorem . When he was replaced with Johnny Burke, the band's entire sound scape had changed and were in need of a new name. After months of searching,7th plague was chosen, but they did not know that it was already taken by another band. After several months of getting their name established and getting signed toMetal Blade Records , the band was notified and was forced to change their name again. There were other names beforeTheorem , but none of the band members can remember them because of the fast rate at which they were changed.
