Terra Nova High School is a newly formed school in Portland, Oregon as a program of both the Beaverton School District (BSD) and the Northwest Regional Education Service District [http://www.beavton.k12.or.us/pdf/ins_Terra%20Nova%20information.pdf] . It emerged as a combination of the Cascade Education Corps and Outdoor Leadership Program education options within the BSD both of which emphasized a personalized teaching approach with a focus on community and environmental citizenship.
