Alfred Webb (1834 – 1908) was an Irish politician and
Member of Parliament for the West Waterford constituency (1890-1895) who played a role in every major nationalist organization from Butt’s Home Government Association to theUnited Irish League . Visiting India, he notably became the third non-Indian to preside over theIndian National Congress , at Madras in 1894.Webb was a supporter of
Anti-Caste , Britain's firstanti-racism journal which started in 1888.
