Zachariah Blanton

Zachariah Blanton (born 1989) is a young American man who killed a man following a series of shootings near Seymour, Indiana in July 2006.Another man was shot and seriously injured as he got out of his pick-up truck.

Shots were later fired at a tractor-trailer and a parked SUV on a road in Delaware County, Indiana, though no-one was hurt in these second shootings.

Police became aware of Blanton's involvement in the shootings when tipped off by an informant, apparently an acquaintance.

Following a search of Blanton's house, the police stated that they had found "precisely what [they] were looking for".
