"Here We Are" is a single by Gloria Estefan. It was released in 1989 in U.S. and in 1990 to the rest of the world as the third single of the album, "Cuts Both Ways". It has become one of Estefan's most recognized hit singles.

This was the third single of the album "Cuts Both Ways" and was one of many successful ballads performed by Gloria Estefan. For her "Evolution World Tour," she performed a medley of her ballads with Jon Secada. This medley included "Cuts Both Ways", "I See Your Smile", "Words Get in the Way", and this song. This medley can be found on the "You'll Be Mine (Party Time)" single.

The single was released with a B-side song: "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me", that was included on the European version, later to appear on the "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" album.

As a duet for her special television concert "All The Way Concert," Celine Dion performed this song, while Estefan sang Dion's song, "Because You Loved Me".

Chart performance

"Here We Are" continued Estefan's success on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, where it peaked at #6 in 1990, becoming the ninth Top 10 single sung by Estefan. The song went to #1 on the American adult contemporary chart and remained in the top spot for five weeks. The song peaked at #23 on the UK Singles Chart.
