Robbert Schilder (born April 18 1986 in Amstelveen) is a Dutch footballer who currently plays for AFC Ajax. The left-footed Schilder can play on several positions both in midfield and defence, but his favourite role is as left sided midfielder.

Via amateur sides NFC and Amstelveen Heemraad Schilder joined Ajax and was part of the first team squad since the start of the 2005-06 season. He made his Eredivisie debut on February 8, 2006 in a 1-0 win over Willem II. During the season he would play another three league matches and Ajax won the KNVB Cup.

Prior to the 2006-07 season, Schilder participated in the 2006 Johan Cruijff-schaal clash with PSV Eindhoven which was won 3-1. A few weeks later he was sent on loan to Heracles Almelo where he became one of the key players that played almost all matches and helped the team to prevent it from playing promotion/relegation play-offs with Eerste Divisie sides at the end of the season.

In 2007 Schilder was called up by Jong Oranje coach Foppe de Haan to be part of his squad for the 2007 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship held in the Netherlands, that retained their title and that qualified for 2008 Summer Olympics by beating Serbia 4-1 in the final.

Schilder returned to Ajax for the start of the 2007-08 season. However, after failing to impress coach Henk Ten Cate and having played in only 8 league games, Schilder was once again loaned out to Heracles Almelo for the remainder of the season.

During the summer of 2008, Schilder has been told by Ajax management that his services are no longer required and he is free to look for another club.
