Volker Hinkel (born
June 21 1965 inCalw ) is a German guitarist and pianist.Before 1991, when he founded
Fool's Garden withPeter Freudent haler, he played in Central Heads, Passion and Magazine. He's moreover a big admirer ofThe Beatles and Oasis. During 1993 Volker also realized his first solo project. The album, titled "In The Wake of Thunder", has been published in 1994. AlsoRalf Wochele andThomas Mangold , old members ofFool's Garden , participated to it. In 2000 Volker produced the song "Under My Wing" byBrainstorm , the album "Hope Garden" byCae Gauntt and "Sister Moon" byMira Kay . He also appeared as guest star on the albums "Sensor" (2003) and "Relocated" (2006) byCamouflage . His second solo album, "Not A Life-Saving Device", was released in August 2005. It was produced together withDirk Blümlein andClaus Müller , both current members ofFools Garden .In 2005 he produced the first single of Yannic Günther "Nowhere", and is currently collaborating to the new album of the Italian artist
Daniele Groff .Volker's song "House of Love" is featured in the upcoming indie film "
The Other Side of the Tracks " starringBrendan Fehr ,Chad Lindberg , andTania Raymonde .Discography
