Kathleen Petty

Kathleen Petty (born 1960), formerly Katie King, is a Canadian news anchor.

Biography

Petty was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, North America. She attended Sacred Heart Elementary School in Calgary from 1968 through 1972. Petty hosts "Canada Now" on CBC Newsworld during the primetime hours and "" with co-host David Gray. She has been with CBC Newsworld since its creation in 1989. Petty also hosts "The House", a CBC Radio One programme about Canadian politics.
