Louisiana Highway 3142 (LA 3142) is a state highway in Louisiana which serves St. Charles Parish. It spans 1.62 miles in a south to north direction.

Route description

From the south, LA 3142 serves as a connector road between LA 3127 and LA 18 near Taft. It is primarily used by workers at the nearby Dow Chemical and Waterford Nuclear Power Plants. Due to the heavy rail traffic in the area, LA 3142 has an overpass (built in 1976) that crosses several railroad tracks.

LA 3142 is an undivided, two-lane highway for its entire length.
