Jason Vieaux

Jason Vieaux is an American virtuoso guitarist. He began his musical training in Buffalo, New York at the age of eight, after which he continued his studies in the Cleveland Institute of Music. In 1992, he became the youngest winner of the Guitar Foundation of America International Competition. He followed this success with a 53-city recital tour of the United States and France. His debut album, released by Naxos Records, won the prestigious rosette in its rating in the Penguin Guide to Compact Discs. In his 2006-2007 concert season, Jason Vieaux had debuts with the Ft. Worth Symphony and Iris Chamber Orchestra. Recently, Mr. Vieaux performed at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, Cleveland's Severance Hall, Spivey Hall, and New York's 92 St. Y and Merkin Hall
