September 29 ,1961 ) is anactor (over 50 productions), director (over 100 productions) and producer (over 350 productions) of live theatre on the Central California Coast, and elsewhere. He founded GroveMont Theatre in 1982, renaming the non-profit theatre companyPacific Repertory Theatre in 1994, when the group acquired the historic site of theGolden Bough Playhouse inCarmel-by-the-Sea , California. As an actor, he appeared in critically acclaimed productions of "The Elephant Man" (oppositeBarbara Babcock ), "Medea" (directed byJoseph Chaikin ), "Elizabeth Rex " and "The Beard of Avon " among others. He also directed the West Coast premieres of "Madness of King George" and "Talking To Terrorists", among others. In 2003, he produced and directed an award-winning production of "Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story ".
