Background
A graduate of the Manolo Fábregas and Sylvia Debrez schools, Ernez has also participated in various acting workshops, including ones led by Sergio Giménez on Televisa San Angel and José Luis Ibáñez on
UNAM .Theater work
Ernez played the central character in the comedic musical, "La verdad no peca" ("The truth doesn't sin") and earned a nomination for best new actor in
1986 . This appearance was followed by several years of producing and directing, including "Teatro en Atril" presented byMexico City 's Institude of Culture. There, he worked on various shows such as "Celos con celos se curan" ("Jealousy is cured by jealousy") and "El burlador de Sevilla" ("The Barber of Seville ") byGioacchino Rossini , "El hombre, la bestia, y la virtud" ("The Man, the Beast, and Virtue") byLuigi Pirandello , and "Los héroes del día siguiente" ("'The Heroes of the Second Day") by Ireneo Paz.
