"Good Day" is the second single released from Jewel's fifth album, "Goodbye Alice In Wonderland". The single was released to American radio stations beetwen late June and early July of 2006. The single peaked at #30 on Billboard's Adult Top 40 chart. Despite its low peak it hung around in the chart for 12 weeks.

ingle Information

The single "Good Day" is Jewel's sixth single that has not been re-touched for radio release. However in the end, a radio edit was required due to Jewel using the word "shit" in the song. The word was cut out and is listed as the 'radio version' on the promo singles (this version also features additional percussion hits throughout the song which are not on the album version.)

Music Video

The music video for "Good Day" premiered on AOL in the middle of July, 2006. The video contains several parallels stories to the movies,"The Wizard of Oz", "Alice in Wonderland" and "The Stepford Wives". The video switches from black-and-white to color several times throughout the duration of the song.

Commercial Release

There has been no conformation yet to if there will be a commercial CD single released for purchase of the song. If the song is released internationally a single will be issued to the countries. The song is available however for digital download through iTunes Music Store, however an actual digital single has yet to be confirmed for any music programs.

Till today, with minimal airplay it's very odd to confirm if the single will be released commercially. Yet, the single hasn't been picked up to radio stations and the album already fell off Billboard Hot 200 it seems that the single will be an only video released. The song was supossed to be released as soon of "Again And Again" failed to get Top 40 but her record label released it months before that. As her album "Goodbye Alice In Wonderland" failed to gain critics good reviews and her double A side single did poorly it is considered that all the promotion of the album is already done. However, recently, a video for the song "Stephenville, TX" has been shown on Yahoo! Launch.
