Diaboromon (Diablomon in the Japanese version) is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise. His name originates from diabolus, the Latin word for devil, and his design and actions are a reference to the Y2K Bug. In the dub of the movies that he appeared in, Keramon, Diaboromon, Infermon, and Armageddemon are voiced by Paul St. Peter while Kuramon is voiced by Brianne Siddall. However, in the original, each was silent, never saying anything (the closest is when part of an automated message played out on the phones, merely saying "Moshi" (the Japanese equivalent of "Hello" when answering a phone) over and over again).[1] Omitted from the dub of the movies was the digimon's childish nature, because even though it was insanely powerful, it was still a baby in age; the dub serves to make the digimon and all its forms far more sinister with its voice and mannerisms.

In the dub, Diaboromon was a Digimon created by the DigiDestined Willis.[2]

Attacks

  • Web Wrecker: A beam fired from his chest
  • Cable Crusher: Diaboromon extends his arms at his target

Description

Kuramon

Kuramon

Kuramon hatched from a Digi-Egg that had formed on the Internet from a collection of viruses. Kuramon's mere presence on the internet wreaked havoc - phones stopped working and people were unable to board trains. Tai described him as a "cross between a jellyfish and a contact lens". This Digimon spoke in window messages, with its only word being "hello."

Tsumemon

Tsumemon

Tsumemon started eating computer data and causing havoc for cash registers worldwide as soon as it had digivolved. Shortly after, Tsumemon digivolved into its Rookie form Keramon. Tsumemon, like Kuramon, only spoke in e-mails, but the only thing it said was "I'm hungry."

Keramon

Keramon caused more trouble on the Internet by eating data. To stop the virus-like Digimon, Tai and Izzy, with the help of Gennai, sent their partners Agumon and Tentomon to his whereabouts to fight him. However their attacks had no effect, so they digivolved to their Champion forms and attacked again but then Keramon also digivolved. However he skipped his Champion Form and digivolved straight to Ultimate, becoming Infermon.

A Keramon appears in Digimon Data Squad. It appeared to help Neon, an old friend of Yoshi Fujieda. By altering data in the pop charts, it made the singer wrongfully appear to be better than he truly was, and was the true reason why Yoshino dated Neon. During the fight with the Data Squad, Keramon digivolved into a large Chrysalimon.[3]

Attacks

  • Bug Blaster (Crazy Giggle): Keramon shoots a sphere of explosive virus data from its mouth, causing any digital information it hits to be deleted

Kurisarimon

Kurisarimon (Chrysalimon in Japan) is the champion form of Diaboromon. Its body is covered with hard armor and tentacles emerge from its back.

A Kurisarimon appears in Digimon Data Squad, after Digivolving from Keramon.[4] Kurisarimon is subsequently defeated by GeoGreymon.

Attacks

  • Data Crusher: A yellow ball of energy is shot from Chrysalimon's mouth.
  • Unconnect Buster: An attack that causes the victim to de-digivolve.
  • Internet Surge: A beam of energy is shot from Chrysalimon's bottom.
  • Connect Destroyer: Charges the light energy which he has concentrated to the utmost limit in his hands which tuns into an electric ball of energy either small or as huge as WarGreymon's Terra Force.

Infermon

Infermon

The Ultimate level Infermon form was reached through warp digivolution, thus bypassing the Adult/Champion stage, Kurisarimon. In this form, Greymon and Kabuterimon had a hard time fighting him. To defeat the powerful Digimon, they also planned to digivolve on their Ultimate Level but while there were digivolving, Infermon attacked them, resulting in their defeat. Infermon then escaped and hacked himself in the US military network, from where he launched a nuclear missile on the DigiDestined. Agumon and Gabumon attacked him in their Warp Digivolved forms, WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon. However, as the strides were against him, he digivolved into Diaboromon, nearly killing both Patamon and Tentomon. This greatly enraged Tai and Matt, and they began to pummel him, that is, until Tai's computer froze, causing Wargreymon to do the same. Without the help of WarGreymon, MetalGarurumon was easily defeated by Diaboromon.

Attacks

  • Spider Shooter (Cocoon Attack): His mouth open to reveal a barrel-like cannon shooting small flares

Armageddemon

Armageddemon

An alternate Mega-level form of Diaboromon, Armageddemon was created when millions of Kuramon were released into the Real World after the second destruction of Diaboromon. The Kuramon regrouped at the river, forming a Digi-Egg that hatched into Armageddemon. Omnimon appeared and attacked Armageddemon but Armageddemon defeated Omnimon with ease. Imperialdramon took over the fight, but was again defeated by Armageddemon, first in his Dragon Mode form then in his Fighter Mode form. At that point, Omnimon changed into the Omni Sword and Imperialdramon changed into Paladin Mode, using the Omni Sword to revert Armageddemon back into the Kuramon that formed it.

Attacks

  • Destiny Destroyer (Ultimate Flare): Armageddemon fires a solar-hot energy blast from his mouth.
  • Full Scale Attack (Black Rain): Armageddemon launches a swarm of missiles from his back.
