(2006)"Lonely Train" is the debut single of the hard rock band Black Stone Cherry from their self-titled album which was released on July 18, 2006. It peaked at #14 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks Billboard chart, and was also selected as a free single on iTunes in July 2006.

The song delivers a strong message about the dangers of war and intelligently highlights the powerful effect of love.

Music video

Additionally, a music video in black and white, giving the video a dark and gloomy feeling in combination with the aggressive manner of the song, was directed for "Lonely Train", which features the band members playing in a warehouse in a small town, switching over to several other pictures of the town and its citizens.

In pop culture

The song is the theme song for the WWE pay per view The Great American Bash 2006 and was featured in the wrestling game WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007. The song is also featured in youtube for Jua410 Vengeance on Jua410.
