Roselyn Chase

Roselyn Chase is a model and popular socialite from New York City. She was born in Harlem, New York, and raised in Brooklyn and The Bronx. She was born during one of the harshest winter storms recorded to a Dominican mother and a Trinidadian father. On the combination of Latin and West Indian elements in her ethnic make-up, she is reported as saying, "...quite honestly all Caribbean cultures, have very strong blood, which I still don't really know how my mother and father mixed. I guess I have the best of both worlds because I'm both Latina and West Indian. I embrace both of my cultures and am very aware of each distinction. At first, I didn't know what to call myself, because I was only raised with my father until I was seven years old, but as I got older, I grew wiser and embraced my heritage even more."

Growing Up

Growing up, Roselyn graduated early and proceeded to college with excellent grades. "I was always into school, honestly I still am. I've been in school since I was two years old, and it’s something I enjoy. Growing up I never really thought about modeling, my focuses where more on regular things like clothes, spending time with friends and term papers! I was also very much into extracurricular activities."

Once out of high school and into college, Roselyn started to realize the power of her looks. It was during this time that she began to be approached by talent scouts on the streets of New York, "...these scouts would come up to me but I never really took any of them seriously, until one scout really backed up his words with a gig set for me to do the next day." It was this scout who landed Roselyn her first music video appearance in the Young Gunz "Friday Night" music video (Def Jam/Roc-A-Fella Records 2004).

Present Day

After a quick pause on modeling in early 2005, Roselyn became more active making appearances on Spike TV's: Casino Cinema, Smitty's "Diamonds On My Neck" Music Video Feat. Swizz Beats (J Records 2005), and being the hands behind the advertisement for VH1's Save The Music campaign.

In 2005, Roselyn was hand picked by 50 Cent and landed a spokes model position with G-Unit records. G-Unit feautured her as a lead spokes model on more than one event. These included hosting the lavish and televised parties at the mansion of 50 Cent, hosting birthday parties for NBA stars like that of Tim Thomas, and even landing her a continuous guest host and on-air radio personality alongside DJ WhooKid on Sirius Satellite Radio's "Moisture Hour" for [http://www.shade45.com] Shade45, on Saturday evenings.

In 2006, she also made an appearance in The Connection Magazine; a reggaeton magazine, and in KING Magazine in the "Coming Kings" spread along with many other honored hip-hop artists. Roselyn has now shown an interest in furthering her career in the urban modeling world via film, video, print and the internet.

Now, Roselyn is marketing herself on the internet. With the launch of her website, [http://www.RoselynChase.com] RoselynChase.com , Roselyn quickly exceeded her expectation by gaining over 35,000 individual visitors to her site's pre-launch, all within the first month. It has also been rumored that Roselyn is said to be involved with a famous music producer from who's name has yet to be publicly revealed. Roselyn has never commented or confirmed this rumor to any media outlets.
