Wroxton is a village in the Cherwell district of
Oxfordshire .Wroxton is situated about five miles west of
Banbury on theA422 road between Banbury andStratford-upon-Avon . The population of the village is about 300. There are two public houses, both of which serve food, and a hotel providing meals and accommodation.Education in Wroxton is provided by Wroxton C. of E. Primary School.
There was once a small open-cast iron mine near the village which was open from 1900 and closed in 1967. The iron mine was heavily used in the Second World War.
