Ricberht of East Anglia

Ricberht of East Anglia

Ricberht is thought to have been King of East Anglia from 627 to 629 following his murder of Eorpwald of East Anglia. He was possibly an agent of the Pagan king Penda and opposed the spread of Christianity throughout England.
