Dr. Gary Vena, Ph.D. is a Professor of English and Drama at Manhattan College in New York City, NY in the United States. He is a notedFact|date=February 2007 dramatic critic who has written several publications about drama including "Eugene O'Neill's THE ICEMAN COMETH: Reconstructing the Premiere"Fact|date=February 2007, "How to Read and Write about Drama"Fact|date=February 2007, and "Drama and Performance: An Anthology"Fact|date=February 2007. Vena has received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Fordham University, two Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees, one from The Catholic University of America and the other from New York University, and a Ph.D. from New York University.
