Totality Corporation was a publicly-traded
professional services andmanaged services provider based out of San Francisco, from the years 1999 to 2005.Totality was previously named "MimEcom", prior to the company going public in December of 2000.
Totality was a leading provider of application & infrastructure management (AIM) services for large-scale e-commerce sites requiring mass customization and round-the-clock management. Totality served Global 2000 e-businesses and fast growing Internet companies.
At the core of Totality's AIM services was the Totality Service Automation Platform that speeded site deployment and provided automated 24x7 ongoing management and monitoring. Accountable for a customer's e-commerce infrastructure and 24x7 operations, Totality's unique solution was a completely outsourced alternative to internally-managed e-commerce sites.
The senior management team and founders included executives from EDS, Fort Point Partners, AOL/Netscape, IBM, Oracle and Sun Microsystems. The company operated the domain name, www.totality.com.
In late 2005 Totality was acquired by MCI which in turn was accqired by
Verizon . Verizon now operates Totality under its brandname.In 2000 MimEcom was the recipient of what was at the time the second largest second round funding, $100 million, the first being its main competitor,
