Ernie Carletti (born
April 9th ,1975 inChilds ,Maryland ) is an Americanguitar player and guitar teacher who taught at Accent Music locations in Delaware. He has also played in the bandNaughy Naughty .Ernie was a member of the heavy metal bandIced Earth for 4 months, replacingRalph Santolla , although he didn't appear on any records or perform live with the band.On September 19, 2006, He was arrested on multiple rape counts stemming from a 2003 incident in which he allegedly held a University of Delaware woman at gunpoint, kidnapped, transported, and restrained her where he then raped her multiple times. He was held on $335,000 Cash Bond at Gander Hill prison in Delaware.

Jon Schaffer stated on Iced Earth's website that Ernie will no longer be a part of the band. Carletti would be replaced byTim Mills . [http://icedearth.com/wwwbb_msg.php?m=26]On November 19, 2007, he was convicted of rape and kidnapping in the first degree.
On January 18, 2008, he was sentenced to 33 years in prison.
