Global Rights

Global Rights

Global Rights is an international human rights advocacy group "that partners with local activists to challenge injustice and amplify new voices within the global discourse". Their offices are in countries around the world. Their published motto is: "We help local activists create just societies through proven strategies for effecting change." Global Rights emphasizes promoting women's rights and combating discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity or sexual orientation. [ [http://www.globalrights.org/ Global Rights: ] ]

In December 2003 they changed their name so that after 25 years as the International Human Rights Law Group, they would be thereafter known as Global Rights: Partners for Justice. [http://www.hri.ca/organizations/viewOrg.asp?ID=816]
