KOHS (91.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an alternative format. Licensed to Orem, Utah, KOHS first came on the air in 1971, making it one of the oldest high school stations in the country. In the mid 80's it became Utah's first full time "new wave" or "post-modern" radio station. KOHS has received numerous awards over the years, and continues to draw a diverse audience.
