Riseholme is a small
village in theWest Lindsey district ofLincolnshire ,England , about a mile north of thecity of Lincoln.In addition to the village, Riseholme is the site of the rural science
campus of theUniversity of Lincoln (often referred to as Riseholme Park), and the home ofRiseholme College , the University of Lincoln's mainFurther Education department.Riseholme Park campus covers more than convert|1000|acre|km2 of land, and includes
woodland ,deer parks,and alake . At the centre of the campus is Riseholme Hall, former home to multiple Bishops of Lincoln.The college has many courses to take in the land-based sector, these include small animals, forestry and abouriculture, equine (horses), horticulture and obviously
Agriculture .The college has two farms, one on the main site at Riseholme and one in the nearby village of Nettleham (
Lodge Farm,Nettleham ).The facilities can be hired for use with such things as an astroturf pitch, rugby and football pitches, fishing on the lake, halls for corporate events and outdoor activities.
