It was first released onAugust 14 2005 atComiket 68. Later, amanga was adapted from this part of the story. Finally, in theanime series, "Tsumihoroboshi-hen" spans episodes twenty-two through twenty-six, which ended the first season. The epilogue of "Tsumihoroboshi-hen" was moved to season two's first episode with some minor changes.Plot
Unlike
Meakashi-hen , "Tsumihoroboshi-hen" is a totally different story where Rena undergoes a similar situation that befell upon Keiichi in "Onikakushi-hen ". This chapter explains many details on what went wrong in "Onikakushi-hen", except this time the "victim" is Rena. This chapter ends triumphantly, but the post-game TIPS reveals that their fate hasn't changed. A few weeks later, Rika is again killed while Oishi is looking into Tomitake's death and using her as an informant, and a gas leak kills the rest of the residents in Hinamizawa a day later.External links
