"Hold on to Me" was the second and last single from Courtney Love's debut album "America's Sweetheart". It was quickly rushed out after the first single, "Mono", failed to make an impression on the charts. However, the single never had a proper release due to events in Courtney's personal life that prevented her from promoting the single and making a video for the single. Courtney's former Hole bandmate Samantha Maloney played drums on the track, and the song was on the list of the album's tracks that weren't registered for copyright collect, according to BMI and ASCAP's websites.
