James "Jimmy" Murray (born February 4, 1933 in Edinburgh) was a legendary Scottish football striker for Heart of Midlothian and the Scottish national football team in the 1950s.
He made his first Scotland appearance in a 4-0 defeat to England at Hampden on 19 April 1958. He scored Scotland's first-ever goal in a World Cup Finals match at the 1958 FIFA World Cup finals, against Yugoslavia in a 1-1 draw.
He won a total of 5 caps for Scotland.
