An important
archaeological find was made in 1958 by workmen digging a pipe trench - the remains of "Brymbo Man ", dating back to the earlyBronze Age , around 1600BC. The village is currently undergoing massive regeneration, in the form of new private
housing estate s and local facilities. The Brymbo Development company are undertaking complete development of the former steelworks site. Around 600 houses will be built by 2009.References
