Cross modulation

Cross modulation is intermodulation caused by the modulation of the carrier of a desired signal by an undesired signal.

The most common event of cross modulation is when radio stations on FM and AM stations are sharing the same signal, allowing the user to hear both at a static level of noise. When this happens, FM radios will demodulate the weaker station,
