mystery film , and a sound remake of "The Cat and the Canary" (1927). It is one of the manylost films of the earlytalkie film era. A Spanish-language version titled "La Voluntad del Muerto " starringLupita Tovar was filmed byUniversal Pictures at night on the same sets used to film "The Cat Creeps" during the day. No prints or negatives are known to exist, only some stills and the soundtrack.According to the
Internet Movie Database , a few clips do survive in a 1932 short film entitled "Boo ".In the documentary, the Young and the Dead, the lead actress' husband is shown creating a video tribute to her due to her illness and shows part of her memorial service. He states that he became her agent during the filming of the movie and married her shortly after filming ended.
