Norse mythology , Hródvitnir ("Famous Wolf") is another name forFenrir , thewolf that was bound by the gods until he breaks free atRagnarök and killsOdin . The association with Fenrir is found in "Lokasenna ", whenLoki is remindingTýr about his painful encounter with the wolf, to which Týr responds::"I lack my hand, but you lack Hródvitnir:a baleful loss for each.:Nor does the wolf fare well, who in bonds:shall await the judgement of the gods."
