- Ed Stehlik
Edward A. Stehlik Sr. M.D., F.A.C.P, is a general Internal Medicine specialist practicing at Northtowns Medical Group in the Town of Tonawanda, where he is a founder and managing partner of the group. He is also the Governor of the Upstate New York State Branch of the American College of Physicians, and is serving a 4 year term on the national organization's Board of Governors. He has been the Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Kenmore Mercy Hospital since 1990, and is the longest-tenured hospital medicine head in Western New York. He also serves as Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University at Buffalo's School of Medicine. Dr. Stehlik has been recognized with several honors, including the Seigel Award for Excellence in Medical Education, and the Norman Chassin Award for Excellence in Internal Medicine. His peers also selected him as one of the “Best Doctors in America” by www.bestdoctors.com,and he was cited in a Buffalo Spree evaluation as one of the "100 Best Doctors in Western New York.". He completed his medical school training at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and his residency in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Stehlik holds his Board Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of numerous professional and community societies, committees and associations.
