17th Brigade (Australia)

The current Australian 17 Combat Service Support Brigade (or 17 CSS Brigade or simply 17 Brigade) is the home of the Australian Army's deployable logistics elements. 17 Brigade was formerly known as the Logistic Support Force (or LSF) prior to May 2006.

The make up of the Brigade encompasses many varied Corps and trades. It encompasses both reserve and full time units. It is made up of units geographically dispersed throughout Australia with a headquarters in Sydney.

During World War II the 17th Infantry Brigade served with the 6th Division (Australia).
