TeamQuest IT Service Applications

These products are rich web applications hosted by a TeamQuest Application Server powered by Apache Tomcat. Thus they run entirely within the operator's web browser. The TeamQuest IT Service Applications share a common technology called [http://www.teamquest.com/solutions-products/products/technical-details/it-resources/index.htm TeamQuest IT Resources] . This technology makes it possible to break down a large number of servers - and other IT resources such as workloads, virtual servers, network devices, disk devices, etc. - into smaller manageable groups, report on those groupings, and show relationships between IT resources. The TeamQuest IT Service Applications are tightly integrated and share a common look and feel.

TeamQuest IT Service Analyzer

TeamQuest IT Service Analyzer is an interactive performance and capacity investigation and diagnostic tool used for ad-hoc reporting on TeamQuest IT Resources (see section about TeamQuest IT Service Applications.)

TeamQuest IT Service Reporter

TeamQuest IT Service Reporter is a report publishing tool for creating newsletter-style reports or dashboard views of performance and capacity management information about IT resources. Reports can be exported for Portable Document Format and Microsoft Office Excel.

TeamQuest Model

TeamQuest Model is a capacity planning tool, capable of predicting aspects of hardware performance and capacity such as utilization, throughput and response time. Performance and capacity data collected by TeamQuest agents is used to construct a queuing network model, which is a mathematical representation of the relationship between software load and hardware components during a given period of time.

TeamQuest Alert

TeamQuest Alert is a hybrid product combining classic Event monitoring with Performance management. It is a Java-based application that runs on the operator's workstation. Events, alarms, and performance rule of thumbs for groups of servers and applications are rendered in several Red-Amber-Green (RAG) views.

TeamQuest View

TeamQuest View is a sophisticated Performance management tool, capable of real-time and historical data analysis of server and application metrics, cause-and-effect drill-down operations, and correlation analysis.

TeamQuest On the Web

TeamQuest On the Web is a web-based reporting tool.
